Meet Sarah Shaw
What this course will offer you
"This course is about samatha (calm) and it's about what are called the jhana factors (qualities present in meditative absorption). They support the body and the mind for meditation. So I'll explain them and a little bit about the state of jhana and what is involved. But the stress, of course, will be on how to live as a meditator if you might have a busy life."
Sarah's journey with meditation
"I tried very hard and did find it difficult. Eventually something happened in my meditation and it just all fell into place and I felt so happy and relieved to have found a practice that suited me and a path and friends on the path. So I very much hope that anybody who does this course feels that they will find that in whatever method they choose and whatever school, because it really did change things for me. And I just want to communicate something of that in this course."
