Here are some frequently asked questions about our courses. If you have a question not addressed here, please contact us here or write to us by email at [email protected].

How long can I access a course?

Once you've enrolled in a course, you have ongoing access to it with no deadlines to return to it! You can sign in to your student account at any time to revisit course videos, meditations, readings and supplemental materials as long as you find them supportive.

Do I have to be online at a specific time?

Your online courses are available around the clock, which means that you can sign in at anytime, day or night, to take the course. Some courses do feature additional live Zoom sessions, which require you to be online at a certain time to participate in live. The recordings for these sessions are included in the course for viewing afterward if you are unable to attend live.



I'm having trouble accessing my courses.

Click here to sign in to your course account. You might need to reset your password (see below). Once signed in, you can view your courses using the "My Courses" link at the top of the page (or in the mobile menu ≡).

If you're using a computer, we recommend bookmarking the My Courses page so you can return to it easily. Drag this link to your bookmarks toolbar: My Tricycle Courses

On a mobile phone or tablet, you can add a Tricycle Online Courses button to your home screen for easy access anytime.

How can I reset the password for my account?

From the sign in page, click the "Forgot password?" link below the sign in. Then check your email for further instructions for resetting your password. Please email us if you are still unable to sign in.

How long will it take to complete a course?

Generally our courses take at least one hour per unit. Most courses feature six units, so your total would be six hours or more, depending on how long you wish to engage with the meditations, contemplations and reflections. Once you have enrolled in a course you have unlimited access to view it so you can return to the materials at any time.



How can I change my email, password, billing or other account information?

Once you are logged in to your account, click the round profile icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar and select "Edit Profile." From there, you'll have the option to update your display name, email address, or payment information.



I'm missing emails for a course I'm enrolled in.

To ensure you are receiving all the emails relevant to courses you are enrolled in, please confirm your notification settings here.


Our recommended notification settings are:

[x] Email me when someone responds to my comments. (checked)

[_] Email me when someone comments on a discussion I've commented in. (unchecked)

[x] Receive instructional and promotional emails from Tricycle Online Courses. (checked)

This will ensure you receive all the email announcements relevant to a course you're enrolled in. We do not send promotional emails through this list.

If you opt out of receiving "instructional and promotional emails" you may not receive announcements about upcoming live Q&A opportunities with teachers of courses you've enrolled in.



Do you offer group access to courses?

Yes, we do offer discounted rates to groups of five or more. If you're interested in taking a course as a group or with your sangha, click here to learn more and fill out our quick application form.

How do Tricycle Scholarships work?

Fees for online courses are kept as low as possible. These fees are, however, necessary for us to be able to run each course.

Applying for a scholarship

Tricycle Scholarships are provided to allow those who do not have adequate means to access our online teachings. If there is a course you are interested in studying but cannot afford to pay the full price, click here. We will need your full name and email address, and a sense of what you can afford to contribute toward the cost of the course, if anything. We will then respond to let you know whether your application has been accepted. We welcome all scholarship applications.

Contributing to the scholarship fund

The scholarship fund is subsidized by your generous contributions. If you would like to support others to be able to take one of our online courses, you can make a donation here.



I would like a refund

If you are dissatisfied with a course, we offer a full refund up to 14 days after the course start date or your enrollment date (whichever is later). To request a refund, please contact us here or email [email protected].
